strange issue
Hi ,
I have a Motec m800 on a evo 7 with 6 speed gearbox . not a PnP board
I tune this car with a map and inlet temp.
i use the delco 300kpa map sensor .
What i get is when i drive in the first 5 gears i can go futher then 1.7 bar and even 2 bar boost .
But when i drive in the 6 gear i get errors in the ecu on the MAP and TP sensor when i go higher then 1.7 bar .Also the map sensor dont read higher then 1.7 bar so 270 kpa .
i have checkt the +5v to the map sensor and tps sensor and this is good .
i hope that someone can help me .
thanks ,

One question
MAP sensors, Where is it receiving its reference from? Is the line also supplying pressure reference to another part (wastegate, blow off valve, brake booster etc)?
0 -
its coming direct from the inlet manifold .

Maybe i did something wrong with wiring .
but i only found one +5v wire on the Motec M800 ( pin A2 )
And when i see the small Delco map sensor wiring its shows for the M8 +5v wire on pin A12 but this is a +8v wiring for the hall sensors .
So i dont used these but strange that this is on the wiring for the delco or would a M8 versie not be the M800 ?have no one ever have this problem ?
And what would be a good 5 bar map sensor for the Motec ?
