In Dash manager, go to Calculations | Up / Down Counters and Add a new counter. Below is a basic example of a counter that will increment the count each time the Mode button is pressed, starting from 0 and working up to 3. When the count is 3 and the Mode button is pressed again, as the Roll at Limits check box it ticked, the count will rollover back to 0 and resume counting up again. If you configure 2 buttons, you can set them to count up and count down. For this example we are just using the single button.
Once this has been done, add the channel into the Display Setup Channel list so that it is transmitted into Display Creator.
You also need to change the Number of Pages on the Page Selection tab in the Display Setup popup window. This needs to match the number of Pages in your Display Creator configuration.
Save and send the configuration into the Display.
In Display Creator, makes sure that the the dbc file in the Communications tab has been updated to have Counter 1 (or the name of the channel that you are using) listed in the channels.
In the Pages tab, click on any page other than Page 0 to show the Condition window, this is where the conditions that control when a page is displayed are set. In here, Add and new condition or Edit the existing condition to read as Counter 1 == 1 for the first Page, and then increment up on the subsequent pages.
The attached configurations use this basic setup.
