How do I migrate data from one Package to another in M1 Tune?

To Migrate from one M1 Package to another, do the following steps.

• Click on the Open Package icon. 
   

  

• Select the Package that you are migrating into from the Package List.
   

  

• When the selected Package opens, click on the Add Compare Package icon.
   

  

• Select the Package that you are Migrating from.
   

  

  
  
  This icon indicates the Package that is currently open.
   

  

• Click on the Compare Packages icon.
   

  

• Compare Packages if needed.
   

  

  The Diffs Button toggles between hiding or showing the Differences in the Packages, these are the items highlighted in Red.
   

  

• Click Migrate All to migrate all of the settings.  The Migrate All button runs a process that purges the existing Resource allocations and calibrations from the Package that is being Migrated into, this stops the process having any resource conflicts when running. Manually migrating from the Right window to the Left window does not clear the resources.
   

  

• Check the Migration results and note any if needed. This information can be retained by right clicking in the window and selecting Copy to Clipboard, this can then be pasted into a text editor for saving.
   

  

• Close the Windows when done.

• Close the Compare Package by clicking on the Close Compare Package icon.
   

  

• Save the new Package and Edit the Vehicle ID.
   

  

  

• Your Package is now migrated and ready to send into the M1.
