Checklist Wastegate Pressure Control Setup

This guide shows the recommend method to configure the Wastegate Pressure control system. Clicking each item (M1 Tune v1.5 only) will select the item and allow you to enter the required information. Once an item has been selected the help, for that item, can be displayed by hitting the F1 key.

Wastegate Pressure Control

This system controls the pressure in a wastegate actuator by means of two solenoids. One solenoid must be connected to a regulated pressure source such as an air compressor, and the other must vent pressure from the wastegate.

The target wastegate pressure is the sum of Wastegate Pressure Boost Aim, Wastegate Pressure Offset, and Wastegate Pressure Boost Control * Wastegate Pressure Scale.

The following conditions must be met for wastegate pressure control to activate:

• The measured wastegate pressure must be greater than Wastegate Pressure Control Minimum.
• Wastegate Pressure Aim must be greater than Wastegate Pressure Control Minimum.
• Wastegate Pressure Actuator Increase Minimum and Wastegate Pressure Actuator Decrease Minimum must be set.
• Wastegate Pressure Actuator Frequency must be set.
