This guide shows the recommend method to configure the Race Time system. Clicking each item (M1 Tune v1.5 only) will select the item and allow you to enter the required information. Once an item has been selected the help, for that item, can be displayed by hitting the F1 key.
The Race Time system allows for adjustments to engine tuning or response during a race.
Race time can operate in a number of different ways:
- When Race Time Mode is Disabled the system is disabled.
- When Race Time Mode is Launch:
- Race Time starts when Launch State transitions to Disabled.
- Race Time is reset when Launch State is Enabled.
- When Race Time Mode is Enabled:
- Race Time starts when both the following conditions are met for Race Time Activate Delay seconds:
- Throttle Position is greater than Race Time Activate Throttle Position.
- Vehicle Speed is greater than Race Time Activate Vehicle Speed.
- These conditions can be disabled by setting them to 0, however at least one of these conditions must be enabled to start Race Time.
- Race Time is reset when both the following conditions are met for Race Time Reset Delay seconds:
- Throttle Position is less than Race Time Reset Throttle Position.
- Vehicle Speed is less than Race Time Reset Vehicle Speed.
- These conditions can be disabled by setting them to 0, however at least one of these conditions must be enabled to reset Race Time.
- Race Time starts when both the following conditions are met for Race Time Activate Delay seconds:
Race Time is always reset when Engine Run Time is 0.0 or if Driver Race Time Reset Switch is On.
